Gardens and Squares
Throughout Newpoint, parks and commons offer residents special places to linger and enjoy A large green is located on a high bluff overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. This tranquil setting is within a seven-minute walk of every homesite, giving residents access to the neighborhood dock and beautiful sunset vistas over the Beaufort River.

A Walking Neighborhood
Sidewalks meander gracefully beside picket fences along the edge of tree-lined streets, providing comfortable paths for evening strollers or children walking to school.

Residents
Newpoint owners range in age from their 20's to their 80's and many have children and/or grandchildren. The diversity of ages adds a great deal of life and interest to our community About one third of the neighbors are retired, while the other two thirds do everything from flying Marine fighter jets to entrepreneuring.

Homes
Present homes range in size from 1,520 square feet to over 7,000 square feet. In designing their homes, many people start with one of our plans and tailor it to suit their particular tastes, others start from scratch. The individual character of each home provides a pleasant variety within the neighborhood.

Neighborhood Association
Each homesite owner belongs to the Newpoint Community Association, which maintains the private common areas and structures.

Architectural Controls
The Newpoint Code governs such items as setbacks, height limits and building materials to protect the property value of all owners, now and in the future. The Newpoint Architectural Committee reviews all residential and landscape plans for compliance with the Code.

Schools and Hospitals
Beaufort Academy (grades K through 12) is within walking distance of our neighborhood. Coosa Elementary and Middle Schools are within a short drive, or children may ride the bus which stops at the Newpoint entrance. St. Peter's Catholic School (preschool through 8) is also located nearby. The modern 171 -bed Beaufort Memorial Hospital is but a ten-minute drive from Newpoint, as is the 350-bed Naval Hospital, which provides medical services to active and retired military personnel.
